#InFocusFriday – Blue Jay
We had a great opportunity to observe this Blue Jay this past week as well, prompting a second “In Focus Friday” post for the week. We’re trying some new things over here as we try to get our bearings. These photos were also taken around our new home and I was genuinely excited to have an opportunity with a Blue Jay where I could get such clear and beautiful images!
#InFocusFriday – Mississippi Kite
We had a lovely opportunity to photograph our resident Mississippi Kites this past week. We’ve enjoyed watching them as we first worked on and then moved into our new home. The property features some nice perches and is adjacent to several hundred acres of woodlands making it as perfect a home for us as it has been for these raptors. We know that they’ll be migrating away for the winter so we plan on enjoying them while we can and hope to see them again next year!
