On our second adventure to The Bog Rebecca and I get more than the blueberries we bargained for!
Over our two days at Pitcher Plant Bog we saw many Blue Grosbeaks. These beautiful birds were a frequent source of color and song and it seemed that wherever we went within the preserve one or two of them would turn up.
On a sleepy Sunday Rebecca and I journey to Pitcher Plant Bog, one of the first we learned of and one of the closest Wildlife Managements Properties to our home.
The Yellow-Breasted Chat was among the highlights of our visit to Lannahassee Creek WMA. Here are the best images I was able to capture of him in a larger format.
Lannahassee Creek WMA is large parcel of land nestled in the tributaries of the northern Kinchafoonee Creek. It boasts hilly lands, costal forests, and numerous wildlife opportunities.
